An Evening Standard article this week featured the bike repair workshops hosted at YMCA North London by partner, YES Outdoors. We’ve now had two workshops at the hostel and it’s great to see they are acting as a springboard to other things. YES Outdoors brought along some great bikes which the residents work on over a 6-week period, learning practical skills as they go along. At the end of the workshop they get to keep the bike, with a helmet, lights and lock thrown in as well.
